yea exactly its just more crap to sift through and pass on at best buy. why dont they get some actual designers in there and make something nice/new/groundbreaking/different/useful... i mean come on look at one of these and compare to one from 5 years ago, its the same! so what the specs got bumped up a bit thats to be expected, i just think they are lagging in the creative dept. (and i dont mean releasing a macbook pro clone and calling it creative, get something new out there hp)

How about some of you kids getting a clue that the vast majority of people just need a decent machine with up to date specs, and aren't looking for companies to break the sound-barrier with every new model they release or funky "for the hell of it" designs?

You want "ground breaking"? Then dont expect sub-$1000 prices.

This may shock you but most people on this planet are using computers made between 2000 and 2008, so these machines are incredible for the speed and price.

Agreed, if we're talking about throwing Atom in it. But a nice thin 12" is a real sweet spot for an ultraportable with a real ULV proc in it. I hope to see more of those.
