Not really, the current Z is available with a T9900 proc. That chip has a TDP of 35W just for the cpu.

Since you've proven incapable of thought I'll tell you what everyone else understood: If I bought this laptop as is (with Windows installed) and then I cleaned the HDD and Installed Ubuntu, I'm still forced to pay for a Windows license even though I would not be using it. If Sony installed Ubuntu as a customer choice at the time of purchase then this laptop would cost less for those wishing to use a free, alternate OS.
