Integrated is not as bad as it was. A few weeks ago my dog decided to "water" my media center computer. I replaced it with a Gateway with a x4500 from Costco. I was planning on putting an ATI card in it, but I hooked it up to my TV, and run it at 1080p with no problems using the integrated graphics.

While it is probably not something you would want to play games on, for media center it works well. I always wanted NVIDIA or ATI to create a card specifically for media center. You do not need all the shaders and extra stuff. The integrated Intel in my Acer Aspire is bad, and it also has problems with youtube. Absolutely. Unless you really need a computer in the next few weeks, you'll be better off waiting for the i3. It will be faster and more efficient, which means better battery life.

Wait for the i series chips definitely. Probably not the i3 though, it's a 35W part and will probably have crappy battery life in a small(11"-13") notebook.

I am cursed with the same piece of crap, 130 dollars, a 320 gb hdd, and 4 gigs of 667 DDR2 RAM (this thing can't handle higher speeds) later, this thing is still a piece of ****. And that is my first experiance with an OS X mac, and the only reason I gave them a chance at all is because I had to for my school.

Luckily I have a nice laptop coming either today or tomorrow, now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be pressing my nose against the window waiting for the UPS truck.

They should be, the Nehalem chips usually out perform C2D by 10-20% clock for clock.
