We use them at work, and I am still using my old T42 (which if you look on the bottom, is a Lenovo anyway) because the e6400s are just junk. Utter craptops. I literally watched one break while it was sitting on a conference table. The screen just cracked down the middle. The screens seem to be a weak point to begin with, we've replaced 6 screens out of probably 40-50 e6400s we just bought in within the last 2 months. We are evaluating new companies now, and I am pushing hard to go back to Lenovo, the cost savings isn't a savings if we have to spend the difference on a "dell total care" plan to cover the laptops that break themselves.

If you do go dell, make sure you spend the several hundred dollars on a good warranty, as when they break, dell considers you at fault even if it happens just sitting there, and won't cover their own faulty products. Trust me, I was the one on the phone with their rep, two hours of my life I will never get back.

Andrew Lazetera

Comments on Lenovo leaks ThinkPad Edge, X100e, T410s, W510, T510 and more ahead of CES

That is one sexy piece of hardware.

charlietokowitz

Comments on Lenovo leaks ThinkPad Edge, X100e, T410s, W510, T510 and more ahead of CES

@charlietokowitz If you get turned on by designs rooted in the 80s and 90s!

Khris

Comments on Lenovo leaks ThinkPad Edge, X100e, T410s, W510, T510 and more ahead of CES

@Khris You don't?

ImSpartacus

Comments on Lenovo leaks ThinkPad Edge, X100e, T410s, W510, T510 and more ahead of CES

@ImSpartacus Not in the slightest!

Khris

Comments on Lenovo leaks ThinkPad Edge, X100e, T410s, W510, T510 and more ahead of CES

@Khris You must be less than ten years old.

BigD145

Comments on Lenovo leaks ThinkPad Edge, X100e, T410s, W510, T510 and more ahead of CES

@BigD145 You must be joking.

Khris

Comments on Lenovo leaks ThinkPad Edge, X100e, T410s, W510, T510 and more ahead of CES

@ImSpartacus As for specifications, there’s nothing definite at this stage, but they’re putting their neck out and tipping either AMD’s Athlon 1.6GHz Neo processor with ATI Radeon HD3410 graphics or Intel’s Centrino 2 ULV 1.4GHz processor paired with GMA 4500MHD graphics.
More details: http://bit.ly/lenovo-thinkpad-x100e-specs

All now unveiled on the CES

jennyspinners

Comments on Lenovo leaks ThinkPad Edge, X100e, T410s, W510, T510 and more ahead of CES

I'm glad they didn't change the traditional Thinkpad models.
