Upgrading the CPU is a bit ridiculous at close to $500 and $1000 for the 820 and 920 respectively.  Give it a year or so and pick one up cheaper and swap it yourself.  That's what I have been doing with my notebooks to get a bit more life out of them. Not to mention they're going to have to deal with cooling and such as well.
