All that needs doing for a decent keyboard is to design something similar to the LG Voyager keyboard - that is actually a VERY sturdy keyboard - and IF Google wanted Moto to keep the slider, they would only have to extend the width. Why not, they've already extended the length (microphone hole/logo). Of course , in order to fit a keyboard that good, they would have to add depth, but they would need to do that second time a round in order to accommodate second battery OR extended battery- as is, the Droid is never going to get an extended battery, unless Moto wants to contract a different battery companies formula (Recall the Nexus One ability to hold a second battery is due the room left over from keyboard removal - in a sense.). The only two real advantages over the Droid/Eris now are 2nd battery ability, SD Card AND GSM card slots, scroll button (although it is only there to replace the missing D-Key), with a slight and barely noticeable 400MHz gain in CPU power over the Droid (Remember, the only reason the Nexus One out of box is so much faster than the Droid, is mainly due OS.21 RC2 and no extra apps installed - check the speed of boot-up after you have all of your previous Droid/Eris apps copied in; not so 'fast' now., is it.)

CLCDAN

Comments on

Well looks like my wife is getting my Droid.....

Jackie_Treehorn

Comments on

@JackieTreehorn Looks like my mom is getting mine...

M3Ls

Comments on

@bkprince23

That's disgusting

Why should I have all the fun?

Comments on

@Why should I have all the fun

i see what you did there LMAO!!!

EminiSP

Comments on

@JackieTreehorn Same here.
