It will make a terrible experience if they do.  Make Natal work with games created to be played on Natal. Thats how Wii dominated, simple games, interaction. Then make it work on Xbox Live. The idea is good, but the odds for Natal to really be a success are low. People are lazy: if you can choose either to do a physical movement OR just press one button 9 times of 10 people will select the button. The Wiimote is less conortable but it allows immersive gameplay. Project Natal looks the most awkward but maybe the most immersive of all. I'd love to see the dual screen HP/MS tablet they had  shown as a concept a few months back. So far CES has showed the Leveno tablet and a few E readers. It could happen, but I think game console owners are far too used to hand-held controllers than having to rely solely on gestures.
