The OS and phone have only been officially released for about 7 months, there was a beta SDK that was opened up about a month after the release...contrast this to Android, which has been around for almost 2 years, and iPhone, which has been basically around for what, 4?  They both took their time to get going as well, if I recall correctly.  New platforms kinda work that way.  Development takes some time. They have the worst phone lineup of any US carrier.  Palm wasn't a big enough brand to get many consumers to switch for the Pre, and now they don't even have that.  They don't even have any rumored devices at this point that people care about.<br><br>It's especially sad since they have arguably the best or second to best network in the country. Sprint offers some of the best calling plans in the market. There any mobile, anytime plans with nights starting at 7PM are hard to beat and certainly much cheaper then anything Verizon or AT&T could offer. There are other  carriers who offer better coverage no matter where you live.<br>@ericmn1 <br>A lot of bang for your buck - yes - but I would think that for most people the calling plan would be 2nd or 3rd in priority to call quality, signal strength at home/work or phone selection (especially given this is a tech blog, I think most of us would choose a specific device at the cost of losing signal or call quality over a cheaper calling plan) Sprint cant continue to survive as a company off the consumers who put price plan or 7pm nights over everything else.<br>@neonpolaris<br>$30 data plan is ridiculous. I have an iPhone and thats the one thing that really upsets me about it. The iPhone alone accounts for 50% of all mobile internet usage worldwide. 50%! From a single phone! After some time of bitching Verizon will join in and make matters worse and slam the new device.
