People often grab it from the shelf and go through the pictures on it with the remote.  It is also fairly small with a thin, black glossy frame and outputs in HDMI for when the relatives are fighting over it. My parents have one as well, but I hate the fact that its a digital image that is backlit.  I think that something like a high-res color e-ink display with no backlighting has the most potential to mimic a real photo frame.
