But I've owned three netbooks and sold every one of them within a month because they feel like a toy. There's a handful of models with 1366x768 panels, but then they're kinda considered ultraportables.<br><br>Once ULV laptops become popular, I expect netbook sales to drop dramatically. Look at the Vostro V13... totally redesigning the wheel. I think they were mainly dropping the resolution because the Atom couldnt handle the higher resolutions without stutter when playing videos (specifically youtube/flash).<br><br>I am seeing more and more of these netbooks opt to include the broadcom chip now with the N450 proc. I've just been really unimpressed with netbooks in general. They have their place and they *definitely* have a market. I guess it's a personal preference. At first, with the original 7" EeePC (701?), it was a "look at me" factor, but that got old within a few days for me.<br><br>It's like I'm using it, all is well, then I need to do something the netbook can't handle (Photoshop, burning a CD, etc.)... so I should've gotten out the T400 instead. I don't care if it i has ION, or integrated intel. I'd much rather have Ion 2 than the 330 -- at least it would benefit SOMETHING.<br><br>I'd buy the 2101 in a heartbeat if it had Ion 2. Perhaps it was lousy driver support that hindered the system or something. Or perhaps pre-installed software that was lagging the system.<br><br>I think the benchmarks for something like this should all be done in win7 starter with a minimal install and with synthetic benchmarks that don't tax the GPU or video processing hardware.<br><br>But whatever, still want dual core! <br><br>Dual core, do more! But apparently these netbook manufacturers are starting to include the Broadcom HD video accelerator chip allows you to watch 1080p hd video without stutter.<br><br>Ion 2 is going to take some time before it will work with these new N450 chips. And why should I bother with the HD decoder when I cannot send the signal through a modern forma (Displayport, HDMI) to an HD screen? Why on earth (other than the Pineview CPU) would you want one of these things over the 311?  <br><br>I have the 311 and it runs great!
