Are touch screens really that expensive still? I was kinda thinking these things could at least have the same guts as the new netbooks have.

I'm also not sure Android is where it needs to be for a tablet. I actually wouldn't mind seeing a modified version of Android on a tablet PC. Something Archos 5 like (but with multitouch). But if Archos 9 is the tablet PC benchmark, then no, I do not want to see a "full" desktop OS on a tablet PC.

Android was an OS made to be used on portable touchscreen devices. This fits right in with what it was made to do. If it can do it moderately well (with speed and convenience) then I'll take that any day (that I have money).

bigjaydogg3

Comments on Paradigm Shift joins the tablet crowd with Android-based EMT-10AB/W

Lame.

Logan

Comments on Paradigm Shift joins the tablet crowd with Android-based EMT-10AB/W

That is an amazingly terrible photo.

Wilson Bilkovich

Comments on Paradigm Shift joins the tablet crowd with Android-based EMT-10AB/W

I wouldn't buy it just because of the name.
