I never understand people's issues with Verizon's pricing.

I pay $130 after fees and taxes a month for 2 lines for me and my wife. 1400 minutes (with the free Verizon to Verizon and the 10 friends and family we never use over 100 minutes a month), Unlimited text Verizon to Verizon and 1000 out of network texts for each line and unlimited data for each line.

What discounts do you have? I get 15% off primary voice line and 20% off data, but that still puts me at $146 for what you described even before taxes and fees.

With the VZW discounts, btw, a Nexus on T-Mo (unlocked with even more plus) would cost me $300 more over 2 years than a (free at Best Buy) Droid Eris with comparable plan. I've read several other site reviews. Gizmodo did say that they thought the phone was great--however the browser speed tests really left something to be desired for me especially considering it wasn't much faster than the Droid. I guess I think if they are going to leave out a multi-touch virtual keyboard, at least the droid has a physical one to back it up. It doesn't cost $500 on a two year contract. It costs $529 unlocked with no contract. This is pretty similar to nearly every smart phone out there, and cheaper then the iPhone.

The sim is a sim only deal from t-mo called Solo 20. I was interested in the N900 (i've owned an N810 previously) but I need a device I can use one handed on the move, and the N900 isn't that device yet, maybe with the upcoming firmware update, but not yet.
