After dumping the SiliconOptix REON chip in favor of their own (insert majorLOL!) I may be in the market for a Blu-ray player in the near future, and although this looks cool, I won't bring myself to buy their products after the bad experience with them. The orginal blu-ray died on me in 8 months and i have 2 separate dvd payers last less then 2 years. I know i watch more dvds then regular people put that is pathetic. I mean the tvs themselves won't be enough for the 3D effect.  You'll have to have the glasses too right?  So if I invite friends over what am I supposed to? Tell everyone else "too bad so sad"? Or order em to buy their own pairs? Or cough up the money myself to get 15 pairs of 3D glasses just for 1 freaking tv show or sports event?<br><br>None of those options are appealing or good.<br><br>In short this 3D fad that the industry is trying to force onto the consumers is the worst thing I've seen in years. I have not seen any news mention of receiver supporting the hd 3d format.
