The courts dismissed the case because they ruled that there was no other way to make such a device.

Since this has wifi, would it be possible to use this remote as a phone? Could you hack this and use it as some kind of home phone (with Skype or w/e other alternative there is), since more and more people are moving towards cell phones as their main phone.

A remote and a phone in one (very sleek and stunning) device would be ultra convenient.
