Attaching an RFID tag to your work badge, which would also give you entry to the building and other doors inside, completely sensible. I'm sure there was sooo much resistance to tech that could replace rekeying buildings when keys are lost.

RFID reader powered screen is very cool. Next up, put a little speaker in that to say 'Access Denied' when you swipe your card. From what I gather, you need to enable the screen with an RFID device like a scanner. Why not have the screen in the scanner?
