That is impossible with the iPhone OS.
Yes, the iPhone 3GS is a great device, but there are many great Android devices out there.
I got an Acer Liquid, based on Android 1.6, will get Eclair in March.
It's just as fast as the 3GS with its 768 MHz Snapdragon and additionally it has multitasking.
There aren't as many apps for Android as for the iPhone, but most of the iPhone apps are crap anyways.
Sure, most games for mobile platforms are for iPhone.
But personally I don't spend that much time on mobile gaming.
What I want to do when I'm not at home is watching movies, reading my RSS feeds, reading my Twitter & listening to my music.
And this is done the best way with Android.
Multitasking and notifications in the top bar. It rocks.

Just my opinion, don't want to start a flamewar between Android OS and iPhone OS.

This starts to create levels of Android devices apart from the current ones.

This is obviously going to cost much less than an HTC phone.

I WOULD get it for the price difference if I had to.
