Yeah, right...

Seriously though, all light is also electromagnetic radiation but whether it'll harm you is obviously a matter of intensity and exposure. If you stand around at night outdoors the amount of infrared you're getting won't kill you, but you can cook food in infrared ovens. And while most of us don't hide under our beds from UV rays (which is given off by lightbulbs not just the sun), constant sun exposure or tanning booths can cause skin cancer.
So as long as you haven't hot-wired your router to output some ridiculous amount of energy I wouldn't get too worked up about it. People have decent tolerance even to what you normally think of as radiation, which is why people can work in power plants and help perform all kinds of medical procedures that involve radiation-they just have to be monitored to make sure there haven't gotten an excessive amount. So unless you've built yourself some massive room of a 1000 wifi routers I wouldn't panic.

tekdemon

Comments on Airnergy WiFi power system gives RCA a reason to exist (video)

@Invisiblemoose

living causes cancer.

maveric101

Comments on Airnergy WiFi power system gives RCA a reason to exist (video)

@Invisiblemoose:

You're all wrong, Apple causes cancer

Jordan

Comments on Airnergy WiFi power system gives RCA a reason to exist (video)

@Invisiblemoose

I audibly sighed when I read this. Charging times are limited by the amount of time it takes for the chemicals inside the battery to absorb the charge and reverse their reaction state.
