I think SarnGate's knows what sarcasm means - I agree with him that there's no way anybody could interpret the word 'Nice.' to be sarcastic in this context. It's not obvious by any means of the word.

For the price of the chase, mb and ram, you can actually buy a entry level HP ProLiant ML110 G6 with xeon CPU. The only thing missing is 4 hotswap bay, but cpu will be multiple times faster. I know.. I've read the same. Personally, I just don't have the need to implement a RAID with my NAS. I use a spare drive to manually backup my most important stuff, and that's it as far as redundancy. *shrug*
