Android simply doesn't _implement_ them in the UI. It's designed for 1-handed operation.

If Android didn't support multitouch (like Engadget and Apple would like you to believe), then multitouch-supporting software like the Dolphin Browser wouldn't be able to implement it. Otherwise I'm just going to assume that Google will always take the backseat to Apple in the mobile development world.

The ability to install apps on the full amount of storage space onboard and on the memory card is also something that the public wants and the ability to buy the apps with more payment options than only Google Checkout.

Maybe Google should also be making a list of minimum hardware requirements for Android 2.1 like WinMo 7 will have, to remain competitive and keep up to date.
