WRUP: I'd rather be sleeping in edition

Okay, maybe some of us would rather be sleeping in this weekend -- but there are plenty of us who are eager to get a start in the latest delicious beta to hit the streets. We could only be talking about Star Trek Online, of course! (Those of you paying close attention at home may notice this is the third edition of WRUP in a row that has been plastered with an STO screenshot. It just can't be helped -- they're so shiny and the new hasn't had a chance to wear off yet!) And though not all of us here at Massively HQ are beta-ing it up this weekend, we do all have our favorite games to spend time in. Want to know what everyone on the Massively staff is up to? Well, you're just going to have to read on to find out.

  • Brendan Drain (@nyphur): I bought a new Tengu strategic cruiser in EVE Online and will be using it so run class 3 wormhole anomalies solo. I missed the beta keys for Star Trek Online but have been hearing good things about it from friends. I've been looking forward to that for a while so I'll probably try to get my hands on a beta key and try it out.

  • Dan O'Halloran: More LotRO Skirmishes and delving deeper into Mirkwood, through the Dourstocks and Drownholt conten while doing some clean up on Lothlorien quests to get swift travel through the area. Also diving into the Star Trek Online open beta. I'm gonna divert me some power to the shields and brace for impact, baby!

  • Eliot Lefebvre: Like a man going back to his ex-girlfriend for the fourth time, I'm diving back into Final Fantasy XI, this time armed with... well, I'm not sure what I'm armed with other than knowledge and possibly Irish cream. I'll also continue hitting the streets in City of Heroes, and most likely continue slaughtering darkspawn on my second or third playthrough of Dragon Age: Origins.

  • Seraphina Brennan (@sera_brennan): GLOBAL AGENDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!1oneelven *is not addicted*

  • Shawn Schuster (@SSchuster): Now that the open beta madness has died down in Star Trek Online, I'm going to play a bit of that. Fallen Earth will have the rest of my time as I level my 2nd alt in the brand new Choose my Adventure group.

  • Krystalle Voecks (@Krystalle): Planning on getting some more time in Star Trek Online and enjoying some of that bonus experience in EverQuest II. Beyond that, rehearsals are starting up for a production of boom! I'm involved with, which is undoubtedly going to be crazy fun. Excellent weekend!

  • Kyle Horner (@kylehorner): Star Trek Online this weekend, I'll mostly be checking out open beta than playing the game proper. Going to save all that hard leveling for when it really counts. Beyond that, there's a kung-fu marathon of DVDs sitting on my shelf from Netflix. Mmm, time to order Chinese takeout and burn through 'em. Addition: I've gained access to the Global Agenda beta and fully intend to delve into it this weekend. (I.e. I will be harassing Sera, for it is fun.)

  • Rubi Bayer (@Rubi_): LotRO and DDO! I've got a brand new Rogue in DDO and am absolutely loving her. My Guild Wars guild has a few events planned, so I'm anxious to jump into those as well. I will also be coveting Kyle's Chinese food.

So, that's what we're doing this weekend -- now it's your turn. What are you playing this weekend? Are you, too, coveting Kyle's Chinese takeout? Whether the answer is yes or no, why don't you tell us all about it?
