agreed. There is NO net-jobs-gained because the green-industry. Overall it waists a good bit of money and has a almost non-existent impact on the environment.

Not only that but this article on Engadget missed a pretty important detail: The laptop is both 100% recyclable and biodegradable. That's both A) impressive and B) important (whether you care or not). Why is it important? Because all of our electronics will get discarded eventually and when that happens we don't want them to end up poisoning our water/oceans (or if you're vulnerable to such statements, "our children!!" =).

Also, a lot of the elements/materials inside of our electronics are getting more and more scarce as time goes on. The more recycling of these things that goes on the cheaper our electronics will be in the future.
