There's no iphone "killer" but Android in it's entirety will and is currently working on it and doing well. Check the 2009 pole here, the droid is tied with the 3GS<br><br>The Nexus One is an amazing phone. Beats the 3GS and the Droid hands DOWN for me. Thankfully, xda devs/MoDaCo/HTCPedia communities have provided some great Android roms.
