When really no one phone will take out the iphone. There's no iphone "killer" but Android in it's entirety will and is currently working on it and doing well. Check the 2009 pole here, the droid is tied with the 3GS

The Nexus One is an amazing phone. Beats the 3GS and the Droid hands DOWN for me. Really, where's my t-mob UK nexus one? It should be coming, but that might take 6 months. The HD2 has been out on t-mob UK since Nov, it could still be several months before we see it in the US.

Sense is fantastic but you do grow impatient waiting for updates. Thankfully, xda devs/MoDaCo/HTCPedia communities have provided some great Android roms.
