another way to look at it is that a company is offering support of their new technology for current/previous customers? makes perfect sense.

now transferjet should work on older Sony products before the SD announcement. Hardly the shifty move to rip people off as you proclaim

Second, wifi uses a lot more power so you can see why this would be better. And since we don't seem to be getting wireless USB anytime soon, why not be ok with transferJet? not sure why you chose to be a dink in the reply to Scotty when he wasn't professing MS superiority, simply statiung that Sony was taking care of it's customers (new SD and the old MS camp)

and FYI... MS runs faster than SD in transfer speeds, always has. Something most uninformed people like yourself fail to recognize because it is in the minority to SD.

MS PRO-HG can hit 480mbit/s (60Mbyte/s) vs SDHC @ 6MByte/s

I'm looking forward to soon purchase my Sony Vaio F Series which includes the TransferJet software/hardware, and am greatly looking forward to using it, once I buy the card of course.

Now I just have to find myself a Sony camera to use this thing with.
