Consumers search for what they want, are shown multiple options for just about everything, and can then choose the one that they like best. It's slick that so many apps can run simultaneously, but in reality no one needs to launch 50 apps. Not even 13. It isn't so much that you can have 50 things open, but that you can have several massive apps open at the same time. The guys at precentral were able to get 2 3D games open on top of 10 other cards on the Pre Plus. I have to agree. I've used Apple's (as well as Cydia), RIM's, Android's, and WinMo's, and they all suck when it comes to finding new and interesting applications. I'm sure gems are out there, but finding them is the problem.

The main reason the iPhone left a bad taste in my mouth is because it lacks the ability to install applications from the web (that's also the reason I keep going back to WinMo).

Don't take this as me bashing, because I'm not.
