I can't wait until the performance of the low-voltage chips and the power capacity of battery tech hit a level where tablet PC really come into their own.<br><br>If Windows 7 runs too low and gimp, no one will want it. And although I love how handy smartphones are (checking email, websites, simple games, fun apps, etc...) it is no replacement for a full OS for productivity.<br><br>For instance, although I know it won't match my workstation, I want to be able to run the Adobe suite. As a producer/project manager, there are times I need to open illustrator, photoshop, flash, and after effects. Hey, cool typo! AsusUal. LOL! Anyway, this would be great to have around the office for reading tech docs away from the confines of the desktop.<br><br>All said, it will be interesting to see if whatever Apple have lined up for next week introduces some radical new display tech that does full colour 'eInk' and motion video with few side effects. I am leaning toward the smaller Asus myself at this point-I like the idea of the color screen for a change.
