Amen brother! If I wanted to control my climate, I'd get into my car.

Getting hot in traffic and cold while carving up a twisting mountain
road is all part of the experience. All of my protective gear is vented
and even on 100+ degree days I don't sit too long in traffic.

Cool product? Yes, but I don't see too many sport bike or Harley
riders willing to drill holes in the back of their bikes to accommodate
that box.

Says the motorcycle world that is littered with heated grips, heated vests, wind protection screens, armor protection, camel back hydration,.... list goes onnnnnnn.

I think that this is a good idea for people who have to be in city conditions with summer around the year (not for two months of the year, touching 100 for a couple of hours at noon on a few days). I have been hoping for a good tourer to bring this sometime. I donno how much cooling can be brought in from the battery power without beefing up the alternator.

However, for cooling, I can see some value. I get stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, and the heat can get pretty awful when you aren't moving. I would just as soon keep my protective jacket on but stay cool. But, for the price I could buy a nice mesh protective jacket and not look like an idiot.

In reality, you rarely need cooled air, you just need ambient temperature airflow when you aren't moving. I would be far more likely to buy a jacket that had an embedded fan that I could kick on when stuck in traffic than this monstrosity.
