I'd prefer Palm sends out Nexus 1 form factor phone, with a bigger screen than the Pre, instead of milking the Pre still...at this point it's just existing, and it's not the star of the show. The Pixi didn't help the excitement at all, either.

Didn't I see the other day that Palm moved around 2.5 million units of the Pre and Pixi? For a company that is supposed to be dead or dying they seem to be doing okay.

I can't for the life of me understand why people think Palm should have released an entirely new phone only 7 mos after the Pre, yet it's okay for Apple to only release one phone a year. The same phone. Joking aside, I do agree with you. I'm amongst those who refuse to buy phones from carriers and rather pay full price for an unlocked one. I'd love to get my hands on a completely branding and junk app free and unlocked GSM Pre Plus. Be it in Europe or North American.
