I think the debating about brands you dislike/like should maybe be taken on less generalized level. I surly don´t like every product from any brand, but can easily recognize, if they have a certain level of quality, that they have their niche in the marketplace. Even when they are to expensive for me.

Sure both Apple, Sony or B&O could make cheaper products, but that is not what they do. It also is more expensive to actually design products and use materials that are better quality, or every cheap laptop or screen out there would look and feel the same...
