The Touch Pro2 isn't an Android phone though. I think it's funny that people look at the upfront cost of Sprint phones opposed to the long term contract costs. In reality, having a larger upfront cost is far better than having a larger long term contract cost... I am sure everyone would agree. But most people don't realize that in order to give you those low upfront hardware prices, the companies charge the hell out of you long term. It's a great marketing scheme if you ask me, but I certainly won't give in to it anymore... Give me $100 more initially so I can save $600+ over two years...

And PS: This phone made me drool a little. Yes, but voice != data. I believe you can support 3G voice without supporting the 3G data.

I would like to believe that the phone supports 4G/3G data. If so, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. However, I haven't seen anything definitive.

3G: EV-DO is data only.
2G: 1xRTT is what all CDMA phones use for voice.
