Get the N1. Read All about symbian's review of the X6. Although they are just 'ok' with the N1, it was still a better rated phone then the X6. I really like the idea of CWM though. Was thinking about buying one of the cheaper models, because the price isn't that bad and you get to keep the music. So the point is a keyboard is great but manufacturers need to make sure their hardware keyboards are really better than some of the better touch keyboard implementations out there. I can't say the iPhone keyboard is ideal, since it can annoy you at times, but when it works (95% of the time) it flies and I can type faster on it than many physical keyboards.

And where are those "tests" that have been done? I have used the iPhone, the N900, and the E71 and I can type much faster in the latter two. I have a Nokia 5800 and I don't experience random crashes and reboots. It crashed a few times on me when I had the original firmware (from back when it was released), and once I updated to the second fw release I never had another crash.

CWM might get more subcribers with a monthly billl, even if it vomes to a higher price.

On the other hand this 16GB model might not lessen the 32 GB model sales much, if any. The price difference will be about 100€, or 150$. I mean, for f**k's sake, if you're selling a phone specifically on the basis it's a music phone then you better make damn sure the music player works and doesn't leak memory and crash constantly.

This leads to another observation, the only reason this thing is announced today is that Nokia really doesn't have anything to say and is feeling a bit insecure and awkward while it continues to be left in the dust on the eve of a major announcement from Apple.

It's really just to say "hey, we're here, don't forget us". If they had done this after tomorrow, it'd for sure be overshadowed by Apple's announcement and not have a snowball's chance in hell of being noticed. I've been working in advertising for the last 15 years, and this is just the sort of thinking marketing execs have, rather than investing money and manpower where it really counts — the product.
