They could have built in multitasking easy.  Flash would be harder for them because flash on iPhone OS tablet means it could be on iPhone OS and that would hurt the App Store.  Camera...  Another why not!<br>But If this got flash and multitasking (or a jailbreak to include multitasking with proswitcher) I would hop on this.  I could see it sitting comfortably around my house as a internet and mild gaming device.  It would be a great kitchen tablet and media device, especially since I got to IMDB a lot and their site is awful with a 3.1 in screen. (I usually use my pre for it). That's exactly what happened. First Gen iPhone didn't have 3G. The 3.5-mm stereo headphone jack didn't work well with most cause of the design. Etc.<br><br>Apple always seems to dismiss key hardware or software feature just to add them later on. That way people have to keep buying the new product to get the new features. Smart... business wise... annoying for the customers. <br><br>But on the other hand, it also gives Apple time to work on implementing these features in a way that works really well. <br><br>So in general, it usually sucks to be an early adopter with new products... even more so with Apple products. <br><br>Multitasking will eventually be implemented. Take a 1G iPhone on release date, and compare it to a 1G iPhone today. The difference is stark. The iPhone as it was concieved, performs functions that were unthinkable at the start. The iPad (even this firstgen one) will gain immense functionality with free software updates that will continue to be pushed to this iPad even after new ones are released. With the iPad, they have given us the internet in book form. Its gimped on several fronts and frankly the design looks like ass.  That huge bezel around the screen makes it look even larger and bulkier.  <br><br>Apple made a mistake here.  In the past they waited until other companies had released products before developing their own.  This gave them an opportunity to see what worked and what didn't and then build on it.  Here they are the first major company to release this class of device and it shows. Meaning that you probably already have one of these cables.<br><br>Also, it does come with one. What I was trying to say was, Apple should have just put a female USB port on the iPad in addition to the regular 30pin dock connector.
