The lifetime that they are providing in any flat panel display technology is such that at the end of that time the light output is halved.<br><br>I do not know about others, nor you, but I can figure what a new display in my home would be expected to last as a primary display, and that is only about three years. So, if I use it for 12 hours per day, every day for three years we are talking about 13K hours.<br><br>From what I thought, I thought OLED was already in excess of this figure.
