It is essentially comprise of small square displays that hook together to for a seamless looking larger display. The ones on stadiums and such use LED arrays, this one uses OLED. So literally they could slap as many of them together as they can afford and make as big of a screen as they could drive. Ever wonder how stadiums manage to have a super long narrow display the wraps a complete 360 degrees around the stadium? As it is, this is way higher resolution that the stuff it would be replacing (grids of discreet LEDs). If they went any higher resolution, it would be not only expensive, but extremely difficult to have a system that could drive the content. And they're 10cm^2 panels. Which someone who felt like doing math today said was 108 panels. So the actual functional resolution is kind of insane. Like above 100,000 x 64,000. I understand it's just modular, but at least let it keep its strong suits.
