That's butt ugly. I hope the real deal is going to have a faster processor also. Sliders seem to carry the best form over function in my opinion. The PalmPre keyboard is far too tight to be really useful for people with large hands where as the G1/Dream has a better laid out keyboard. Wider and more usable. Is it possible they don't know? Are they taunting "us"? EVERY manufacture has come out with an "apple-esque" keybourd-less form factor. Can they not think for them selves? Or do they want to cut in to apples profits first? How can NONE of them think there's a market for people who want a slide out qwerty? NONE? Not a one? And here, engadget holds Google to the fire about multi-touch but is silent about qwerty issues aside from a poll. They have ALL missed it! MORONS! Ditch the stylus, add 3.5mm headphone jack.. same screen size and res except AMOLED like the N1. How does one black rectangular object with an almost entirely glass front, look better or worse than any other black rectangular object with an almost entirely glass front?<br><br>FINALLY an Android phone with a keyboard that doesn't looks like it would suck. The more "advanced" the phone (which presumably means a big fat touchscreen), the more generic the shape because that touchscreen is taking over the whole front of the device.<br>Look at the Droid - literally 2 rectangular boxes stacked on top of each other.  The G1 not much different.  <br><br>This phone - if it turns out to be a real product - at least has a great keyboard layout. I can't stand shooters on the iPhone... I know some think it's all great and what not, but I hate it... I wonder if the addition of an optical pad on the right would improve aiming and overall playability? <br><br>Are there any shooters for Android that take advantage of the trackball? ... Or any games for that matter?
