Or about 10 minutes worth of 720p video (even with the ridiculously inefficient MotionJPEG compression). So I think even 32GB, the limit for SDHC, is plenty for right now.

Regarding read/write speeds... well that depends on *which* SDXC your talking about. The initial cards (SD 3.0) won't be any faster than SDHC (SD 2.0). In fact they're pretty much the same cards, except with the artificial capacity limit removed. It's the serial based version (SD 4.0) coming later which will actually demonstrate improvement here.

Plothole

Comments on Olympus intros SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ megazooms, Stylus Tough 8010 / 6020 (Updated: with hands-on impressions)

Hmmm, the SP-800UZ may be my next camera, it sounds nice.

Abe

Comments on Olympus intros SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ megazooms, Stylus Tough 8010 / 6020 (Updated: with hands-on impressions)

camera's for the clumsy oaf who will probs drop it when taking it out of the box, where can i order?

topgearguy

Comments on Olympus intros SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ megazooms, Stylus Tough 8010 / 6020 (Updated: with hands-on impressions)

@topgearguy Really... just don't talk.
