On another note: Chris, when are you guys planning on opening the comments again for the main page? While I suppose I understand the reasoning behind the shutdown (to the slightest degree), I think you could achieve a more desired effect by simply modding the comments section differently.

Instead of shutting it down completely, just delete individual comments and/or ban certain users. I realize nearly the entire Engadget writing staff does actually look at the comments section, is affected by it, and occasionally responds to legitimate, as well as wayward, comments (which is great and makes us feel more connected and engaged). But this whole comment system shutdown smacks of a control problem, and seems like a move that would be extremely criticized by Engadget were another large tech blog to do the same. ps - did you guys ever get a Nexus One Dock in the office? Mine arrived today, and while I definitely like the way it looks and functions, I'm pretty disappointed with how the N1 actually sits in it. The slightest bump and it comes sliding right out and onto whatever desk/nighstand surface I have it on. So much for keeping the phone scratch-free. It needs a bigger front 'lip' to hold it in place. Not to mention it's the only Curve that offers a 3.2 Megapixel Camera along with higher resolution and GPS mixed with Wi-Fi.
As opposed to the Curve 8520, it's only advantage over the 8900 is it's new and improved optical trackpad.

Regardless this year T-Mobile is going all out upgraded network, Nexus one is out HD2 on the way and many more great phones.
