I was under the impression that no DisplayPorts allowed for audio transmission. Am I wrong about this?

Oh please. The whole IBM vs Lenovo Thinkpad thing is ridiculous. I've used the T61p and currently, the T400 and can say that they are both as solid as can be. Get over man. Its the past. Under IBM, I don't recall a situation where a component flaw caused major failure rates across six models. I'm completely certain that IBM's response would not have been to stonewall, then issue a token recall to a subset of those affected, all while degrading phone support to the level one would expect from Dell.
