Fujitsu's Lifebook MH380 hits retail for $449
Fujitsu's stylish little Lifebook MH380's just popped up over on the company's site for sale. The 10.1-inch, Pine Trail Atom N450-boasting netbook's specs include 2GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, built-in Bluetooth, six-cell battery and a 1366x768 resolution screen. It also seems to be available in brown, white, black, and red -- though the only one that seems to be available to buy on Fujitsu's site as of now is the Glossy Red model. Let us know when that cute little brown number's up for grabs and we'll probably be back.

What's that circle next to the track pad?
@Rodz It appears to be listed as a "Separate Scroll wheel" in Fujitsu's specs...so it's just for scrolling around? It sure looks strange though, and it makes the regular track pad tiny!
It's for dipping sauce for fries and tacos.
@Rodz
Yeah, I would rather have just had a larger trackpad.
@nerdherd I wonder who told Fujitsu that people really want a dedicated scroll wheel instead of a normal-sized trackpad.
@Weedle Probably the same people who told all the other laptop makers that we like ultra-glossy finish on everything...at least Fujitsu didn't listen to them on that one.
@One Love ja. I was going to say is was for the soy sauce!
OS?
@kp kp kp It was a huge effort to click on the link, but it appears to be 7 starter
@wetdog2
None of the three links in the post lead to an operating system mention, so, Which link you clickin' on, Willis?
@kp kp kp I clicked on the picture.
That would be 1GB of RAM (unfortunately).
Yuck...too expensive and not enough speed or power, or even a good design.
It ain't pretty, but I'd consider it if it had a mini-PCIe slot for a Broadcom video card. Anyone know if it has one? I couldn't find anything.
A bit too pricey for my liking, and the trackpad looks mighty uncomfortable and too small really. Make it 11.6 inch and 50 bucks less and i might just seem interested...
I guess the circle is an ashtray
Wow - $449? Someone call Fujitsu and tell them that they need to shave $100 off that price.
With the exception of Bluetooth and the HD display, nothing on that netbook stands out.
what on earth is a lifebook? they all look like netbooks to me
@BubblegumBalloon
Lifebook is a trademark.
Lifebook:Fujitsu as MacBook:Apple
@ Everyone Else
Fujitsu makes some nice, albeit pricey, business notebooks/tablets. If I have $1500 to spend, and I want the latest hardware, I might give 'em a look. For a netbook, though . . .
@languedoctor
ah right thanks :)
its so annoying with people coming up with different names for such similar devices like netbooks and laptops (yeah i know one is more powerfull than the other but they are both more or less do the same things)... google even wants to start super phones now o_o... just call em smartphones ffs xD
anyone else feel that they could design a netbook that looks at least 10x better than the shit these big companies always come up with?
@BrianH I think the average person could, if only like everyone had a personal specs sheet, then a company could custom build it for you for cheaps.
Go and take that idea and run with it. I'm not using it.
Hard to justify against the Asus 1201N at 450...
I wanted the Sony VAIO P but the screen resolution was too high (1600x768) for an 8-inch screen. They could easily have put a 10-in screen (by removing the video cam) in that "awesome" form factor and given us a 1024 x 768 resolution. This Fujitsu looks more like it. Now if only Fujitsu could add a 128 GB SSD option (for real cheap).
Intel video? No sale.
