However, they did add some transitions to the menus, but they feel smooth and I like them much more than watching the old menus stumble. The UI look and feel is updated. Just cache the paginated book for every title on the device. The book are loading lighting fast. Books I previously was afraid to open, or would restart the Nook prior to opening, are now opening before I can even set the device down. Changing font size in said book also happens very fast. I repeat.... very very fast. The menu was much nicer then, and just as fast as it is on 1.2, but the major reason why is because every time I go to "My Documents", where the majority of my books are, it takes me back to my home screen. It still takes too long to load up a book--longer, I think, than the previous version.
