HTC made the phone much like they have done for many other brands in the past. That doesn't make it an HTC phone. Do you call the iPhone the "Foxconn iPhone", for instance?

Everything in the X1 was there because SE wanted them to be in there. A sytlus, really? Is this 1999? At least SE finally pulled their head out and is starting to make phones with micro-usb and 3.5" audio jacks.

Only took losing around a zillion dollars and all their market share for them to get there...
