Almost disappointingly so, since I was one of those who just assumed a ground-up UI paradigm overhaul would be necessary for a good touch experience. If you want to just do casual browsing, games, note taking then android would be perfect.<br><br>Personally, I'm in the same boat but leaning towards the full OS only because I would like something like this to replace my laptop for when I'm out and about and need domain access, management consoles, etc.<br><br>In the end, its just personal preference. I have a touchsmart-tx2 and thats thick! I really think they need to port swype to windows and allow you to scale it's size.  I can easily imaging swype sitting in the left or right bottom corner of the screen so that it can easily be used by a thumb grasping the corner or with your index finger. Windows 7 looks pretty decent on a touch tablet, but things will obviously get more problematic in the menus. I really, really wanted one of the 02+ with OLED screen, but alas, I didn't have the thousands to get one of the few demo models that made it to ebay.<br>This is basically exactly what I need; more portable than a comparable netbook, but full OS functionality. What i really need is a replacement device for my Shift and im not satisfied with anyother device yet. The now defunct OQO(also the Sony VAIO UX) started at $1,600. A side from having a 5" screen and a slider keyboard it was everything the ExoPC is.<br><br>Battery life is a legitimate concern no matter what kind of fan boy you may or may not be. Which is not unlike MPG on car where you need to basically cut the number in half to represent realistic usage. They are full OSes but they take out a lot of things say a desktop could do that a netbook never can, like a RAID driver. Forget the screen size, that's irrelevant...but people seem to keep making it the issue. What is important is real world measurements...these don't change no matter what the resolution or screen size. In other words, how big is the tip of your finger? When you change resolutions does it change too? If not, this is a non issue cooked up in peoples heads.<br><br>Again, in real world measurements, as in mm across the screen (not pixels) how small is "tiny"? I'm sure you all find it easy hitting the "tiny" icons in mobile Safari. I know I find it easy, and those things in real terms are less than 5mm wide. For another example, go into your Wifi settings on an iPhone/Touch. To see more details about your connection you have to hit a round blue icon thats no more than 2mm in diameter...no one complains. But having to hit an icon that's probably 10 times as big on a Windows system is suddenly an effort in impossibility? C'mon guys...you surf the web every day on your iPhones and you are about to hit text in specific areas to follow links.
