This is using the MSM7227 series, which Qualcomm says is part of the Snapdragon line, it's basically an upgraded version of the MSM7200 series in previous HTC smartphones. (It's got a slightly faster processor (600MHz), a faster DSP, a VGA video encoder and a better GPU)
This is also used in the Palm Pixi. (Though that's the MSM7627, which has CDMA, rather than GSM)

I want to upgrade my trusty HTC Hero, but I am upgrading it only to a Supersonic or a Nexus1 (as soon as I can grab one).

I cant wait until the htc legend and supersonic come to sprint. They are some cool phones and i really want one. As for the nexus one, i dont know if i like the design but it is a cool phone.
