What? Clicking a green install button on a webpage is difficult? You can install this from the app manager. Clicking a web link will ask if you wish to add the correct repository. No reason why this won't be added to the ones which come with the phone later.

The slightly difficult part is making the PS3 pad sync to the N900 instead of its normal PS3. This is done in two lines in terminal or with a windows application.

To use it on PS3 again plug it into PS3 with cable once and it will switch back.

There was the disaster with the Angry Birds level pack and Nokia probably has given up after that, not making the platform for more game companies.

Youre right that linux phones should be able to do this, but do they? Android which rides on the publicity of linux can't do this.

And no complaining about the phone part. Nokia doesnt sell it as a phone, but a internet device that works also as a phone. N900 is a hackers dream. If you compare it to any other commercial phone there isn't any as open hardware and software as N900.
