Bringing Linux to mobile device will not benefit anyone in itself - look at the father of Linux - Linus Torvalds did not want Nokia N900, Linus bought Nexus One. Nokia N900 is just a basic device that is running Linux on ARM hardware. Basically any ARM-handheld is capable of running linux like the N900 does. What is Maemo? Maemo is 98% Debian Linux created by open source developers, and 2% made by Nokia engineers (some badly implemented phone hardware functionality). Nokia just named Debian linux Maemo and put it in N900. That's what it basically is. It is senseless to publish everything a linux can do as N900 news. Doesn't make any sense. What would make more sense was to publish a news article when N900 can do a basic things like calendar sync which it is not capable of doing at the moment. Many basic things are missing, but I suppose some are glad that it can be used for some senseless gaming.

jussipussi

Comments on PlayStation 3 controller used for N900 gaming (video)

@jussipussi My n900 doesn't sync with my calendar?
