A2DP has a theoretical bandwidth limit of 768kbps and a practical limit of 723kbps, which is far, far, FAR more than needed for the average consumer's compressed music collection. They key differentiator is in the execution, as poor compression algorithms or an underpowered decoder/encoder and cause problems. the 3030 was dreadful:
poor battery life
bad audio quality
inconsistent registering of button pressing
very quiet
some pairing issues when pairing with a second device
lack of customer support

with the new bigger devices coming out , like the dell mini 5 and notion ink adam , more people will be wanting bluetooth stereo headsets with some serious battery.

I've had the Jabra BT3030 and currently use the Nokia BH-214- both sounded great, better that what I expected of Bluetooth stereo audio.

I use them during my commute, so it's not a pristine audio environment, but I'm positive there is no discernible hiss with either of these headsets.
