Do you realize that the bandwidth usage on Sling depends on the upstream speed of your home network?  That means less than 400K for most people.  Sling 3G was the victim of perception problem.  Many people made false comments without owning Sling box or had any real clue about Sling. However, I just dug up the ID from my Mac and added to my 3GS and it does work very well.
