This will be the worst Internet Radio in the world though, if they retain the Chumby incarnation of that function. He's hoping they make a "real" internet radio though, in which case, on that functionality alone, this will make a great set.

Sony also has to not ruin it by making the display too bright to be acceptable for bedside use. Heh, you're probably right if it's a Sony funded app; but it can also be a similar situation to what the droid platform faces. The chipset in the Dash is much more powerful than the Chumby isn't it?

I have to admit, there is something that draws me powerfully to that jumped up alarm clock. I'm always amazed at the little things that make a difference to me. I have devices with 3.5" or similar screens and I have devices with 15" or larger screens, but something with a 7" sounds just right for a little $200 bedside entertainment center.*

Netflix though....recently? Meh. No need to watch quality gems like the 2012 and Transformers imitators which seem to far outnumber the actual things I call movies.

That's more the movie studios fault (and partly Netflix lets be honest now) and not Sony's but still. The Netflix add-on is not adding much to the already great deal in my personal opinion.
