The only way I can see space for this on the X200'ss would be if they shrunk the keyboard, which to me, is unacceptable. Looking at my x200t, there is room at the top (above the power and volume buttons) to shift the whole think up by a least a cm.  If they move the screen locking mechanism from the center of the computer (have two straddling locks) they could easily free up 1-1.5cm more.  They could also slightly reduce the size of the trackpoint buttons and save a total of nearly an inch, all without making the KB any smaller.   <br><br>That said, I don't care for touchpads and wouldn't want it on there anyway. I never liked the UltraNav setup. It was just too weird having that touchpad and extra set of mouse buttons there, even if they could be disabled.<br><br>The maintenance manual shows parts for models with and without UltraNav. I added a 160 GB X25 SSD a month or two ago and it's simply the best mobile computing experience I have ever had. Kind of cuts down the ability to extend out the longevity of a machine by upping the processor.  I've done this with a R61 quite extensively.  Refurb. or used parts come pretty cheap.  I got a basically give away R61 and swapped some parts into it to make it a decent running machine.  When all said in done the only thing original in the R61 was the bottom half of the chassis, the mobo, and battery.  CPU, wireless, lcd, ram, and hd were all replaced.
