@Yoda Definitely the best Verizon commercial so far.
@MrHashbrown It is great, except that Verizon's version of AT&T's map gets worse with every ad. My home state has big chunks o' blue in the official AT&T map, but Verizon shows it as completely empty. The vampire lawyers will be at both companies' necks before long.
@Farmboy According to Verizon's version of AT&T 3G Map coverage, I should not be typing this out using 3G. Yet here I am. Maybe AT&T should go back to court, because that map us lying to me.

@Colrath Why would they go to court to fight their own map? They took that directly off of att's website, and btw it's kinda hard to show 3.8 million square miles in 2 square inches, so unless it's a vast area with 100 square miles of gapless coverage, it's not gonna be visible on a 6"X4" box on your computer.

I can't blame the actor, look what he has to work with. They have him throwing postcards on a map of call coverage to refute an ad about 3g coverage... that'd make anyone seem douche-y ;p

Is Verizon's marketing not working for them yet? Seriously, are they haven to continue pouring millions of dollars into silly ads like this that do nothing more than highlight cowsumer ignorance the only thing they have got going for them? Good thing I've not bought into either of their lame marketing approaches or their services.
Maybe they should spend those millions of dollars on increasing capacity now that they have coverage down. Oh, wait, then they'd have to advertise they are finally adding capacity to the coverage.

Add capacity to what? Their network? They have the most robust network, with the fewest dropped calls, and the largest 3G network. Not to mention they're investing millions in their new LTE network.
They actually spend more improving their network, per customer than any other company.

hey kid.. you may not be old enough to know but.. these companies have marketing budgets... so we(as a customer) do not lose anything... Verizon makes commercials within their budgets so it doesn't matter if they makes this or others AS LONG AS ITS WITHIN THEIR BUDGET... So stop hating.. Verizon +AT&T are BIG BOYZ they just got more money than other 2 carriers and do these funny but stupid commercials... I know Sprint and T-Mobile wished they had this problem lol.. Losing billions of dollars every year just doesn't help the other 2.

TRUTH for the win....
All this didn't add up to a hillabeans last year and it won't this year. The customer still knows that AT&T is the only network you can talk and surf the web on with 3G.
As for their coverage it's not perfect. And if you're in an area where there coverage isn't good then why the hell are you still with them? Move to Sprint or Verizon if you dare....
However for my part I get excellent 3G coverage and decent download speeds so I have no issues and no complaints. I highly doubt Verizon will get the iPhone but even if they were to get it I'd still stick with AT&T.
Apple haters can go croon over big red all they want. Doesn't change the fact that AT&T is making BANK while Verizon isn't....

They had to merge with Alltel to do that. It isn't like all of a sudden these ads starting appearing and magically Verizon gained 20 million subs.

that was funny. laugh out loud funny. way better than at&t owen wilson's adds, where quite frankly makes no sense. let me know on which network you can't browse the net and talk at the same time. i do it all the time and i don't have at&t to thank for that. haha. and the latest one in the restaurant, it proves only one point, that at&t customers are dumb and lazy, if its not pretty they can't use it, and they are to lazy to press menu; then applications; to find their apps.
but this add is still funny.
