Unlike the Wii, the DS actually has a boatload of third-party games directed at the hardcore gamer. The gaming library on the DS is really diverse, and the only thing I can say it lacks is FPS games. And smartphones with button schemes that support gaming.  Because,  I'm always going to have my smartphone with me,  wherever I go.  I won't however always have my DS or PSP that doesnt fit comfortably in my pocket.  I'd like to be able to game wherever I may end up running into unexpected wait.
