Theres an app for that, and its called DSLR remote. But that little thing is cool too I guess. But for $335? Why not buy a an iPod touch...its cheaper, the app is $5 or $10, and then you also have an iTouch...

I was going to say that... and I'll say what you won't; on your iPhone! I've only recently bought the DSLR app since it now supports the Canon 7D and other newer cameras from Canon and Nikon.

However, I think this solution negates the need to tether your camera to a laptop, if that's the case it's definitely intriguing.

Now what would be even cooler is if some company produced a 2.4 GHz dongle that plugs into the camera directly and can transmit the images to your particular brand of smart phone (let's try to stay brand agnostic eh?) Actually, you're wrong. DSLR Remote works with both Windows and Macs. Aside from the iPod Touch + App, there is nothing extra to buy.

From whatever information I was able to find, Pixel LV-WI supports LiveView mode only. This would make the device support to be limited compared to DSLR Remote app.
